I decided to take a little bit different approach to this couple story video. Hayden + Kaitlin wanted something different as well so we chose a top secret location that a videographer friend of mine told me about (thanks Ryan). From an abandoned warehouse to a home cut in half this was such a cool location to shoot at. I chose a instrumental song for this piece and let the images and couple tell the rest of the story. I love how this turned out, now onto the film…
Kollin and Stephanie are definitely some cool people to hang out with and have some awesome taste in music. So many of the couples I work with I get to know over the weeks and months before their wedding and by the time the day is here it’s like we are old friends and just having a good time. It doesn’t really feel much like working. Kollin kept having these great ideas on how to make my shots better and a lot of the time they were! They were married in the Bountiful Temple and had their reception at one of my favorite venues: The Chantilly Mansion. Check out their wedding highlights…
I am a huge fan of backyard receptions, I think with the right set up and atmosphere it makes for some amazing footage. Andrew + Michele were married at the Draper Temple and their reception was at a beautiful home in Sandy. I love how everything turned out on this film, the weather was a little worrysome at first but it turned out perfect. Thanks again guys for having me be a part of your wedding day! Now go watch their wedding highlights…
I think my style of wedding films is prominent with each one I produce but the fun thing is that each film is “uniquely you”. I don’t believe there should be a cookie cutter standard for wedding films and if you watch all of them on my blog I think you will agree. The wedding highlights for Brian + Hanna are no different, they were married at the Draper Temple but this film is “uniquely them”. So sit back, relax and enjoy the film… If you like what you see show me some love with comments below!
This had to be one of the hottest days of the year or so it felt that way. Todd and Erin did fabulous even as hot and humid as it was. This is the same day edit that played at their reception later that night at the Tracy Aviary. These are so great for friends and family to watch that may not have been able to make it to the temple grounds. Check out the film and leave me some love below…
I cannot say enough great things about this couple. Cameron and Jill were so amazing to work with, such a fun and easy going attitude through everything. They were married in the Draper Temple (which I love shooting at) and had a gorgeous backyard reception that made for some amazing footage. Thanks again guys!
Now check out their wedding highlight film (quickly becoming one of my favorites)…
The year is flying by so fast! I can’t believe we are already into July (almost August)! I am just getting caught up from all my May weddings and there were so many great ones. This is the highlight for Jeremiah and Amy, they were married in the Salt Lake Temple and a reception followed at the Soldier Hollow Golf Course in Midway. Enjoy the film…
Sometimes it is difficult to come up with new ideas, shots and even locations for these couple story videos but when Ry’lee said she wanted it done at Utah Lake I knew I had to come up with something fun. These two were hilarious to hang out with, although getting through the interviews was a little challenging (Ry’lee couldn’t stop giggling). As I was editing the footage I just had to bust out laughing but I kept her giggling to a minimum in the video.
When I was first contacted by Ry’lee to book their wedding date it was kind of back and forth for a little while. I was booked originally on that date but in the end everything worked out perfectly. Actually when I spoke with her on the phone a few months ago she said, “yeah my brother is in one of your logo pictures.” and I said, “really? which one?” she goes, “um, the main one you use on all your videos and website!” Spoiler Alert: I didn’t actually shoot her brothers wedding, Amanda with Amanda Abel Photography was gracious enough to let me use some of her work for my website and logo (which I am way excited to work with on Kurt + Ry’lee’s upcoming wedding!) So needless to say I am thrilled for their upcoming wedding and to finally meet her brother and beautiful wife who have been the face of Kale Fitch Productions for a couple months now
So enough with the rambling on, check out the awesome couple story video for Kurt + Ry’lee…
